Main Scripture, Isaiah 6:1-8
The Lord our God is HOLY. He is in a class of His own. He is to be reverenced, respected and honored.
In His presence, we become ACUTELY aware of our sinful state. Regarding HIS standard of holiness, we all fall short. Romans 3:23 says, for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
We can NEVER justify ourselves before Him. 1 Peter 5:6 says, humble yourself before the Lord and He will lift you up. We can only acknowledge and confess our unclean, dark heart to Him. If we are humble and sincere in our confession to Him.
The Bible says in 1 John 1:9, He is faithful and just to forgive us of sin and to cleanse us from all our unrighteousness. Only God can do that; He is our righteousness.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and ONLY Son (Jesus) that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Beloved, this is the “good news.” We all know we are sinners. But, we have been given a choice between eternal life or judgment. Your choice to accept or refuse Jesus will determine where you spend eternity.
Beloved, you are loved with an EVERLASTING LOVE. The choice is yours.
